“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

2 Corinthians 5:17

What does it mean to be a “new creation”?

What does it mean that “Old things have passed away”?

How do “all things become new”?

Questions that many of us encounter when we first come to the Lord Jesus. Questions that often are not answered right away but take time, effort and a consistent walk of faith. Hardships, trials, errors in understanding and almost being at the point of giving up and then a breakthrough happens, stoking the fire within and encouraging you to keep going. That’s what being Made New is about. This website is meant to help you in that walk of faith by providing resources, free materials and also by providing Spiritual Counseling sessions to the individual or groups that desire to go deeper or just be refreshed.

A little of my history before I was Made New through the work of the cross: I spent over 23 years in and out of Juvenile detention facilities and prisons since the age of 10. I was institutionalized by the age of 13, involved in drugs and alcohol since I was 5-6 yrs old. All I knew was I wanted to be the best criminal and drug dealer that was known. My role model was a character off the movie Scarface. A fictional character that ended up dead. My mind was held captive by the enemy through lies, lies and more lies.

In 2008, I had what some call a miraculous encounter with the Lord. I’ve been through a Christian program called Teen Challenge, came home and I still struggled. I fought the enemy by portraying as if I had it together. But I didn’t. It wasn’t until I had a true encounter with the Holy Spirit years later that I understood then, I AM MADE NEW. 2 Corinthians 5:17 then became truth to me. It wasn’t a glory moment at that time, but the scriptures became more than just words after that. They became the actual words to life, my NEW LIFE.

I have since then committed my life to help others break free from the old self, the old man/woman and begin to walk in the NEW MAN as scripture tells us in 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new.”(NKJV)

I have since graduated from Liberty University with a bachelor's in Religion and Christian Counseling. I am devoted to help others through traumas and healing the deepest of hurts and scars through the Word and by prayer.

Our greatest work is done through our relationship with Jesus. He and He alone has the power to take people that are broken, sick and diseased and make them NEW!
